About Bretagne Rock
Don’t let the daunting sight of a chain running up Bretagne Rock stop you from doing this trail. It really isn’t as serious as it looks, and the reward is sweeping views of Table Mountain, Lion’s Head and False Bay on a clear day. A boardwalk between Bretagne Rock and Gordon Rocks made from recycled plastic leads through a pretty section of indigenous forest.
The reserve can be accessed from various places, the easiest of which is from the main road in Paarl. Open daily from 07:00 – 19:00 in summer and 07:00 – 18:00 during winter.
