About Carla's Mozambique Cuisine
We're an intimate restaurant in Muizenberg, Cape Town, that offers authentic Mozambique prawns made from a closely guarded recipe that is generations old. The unique time honored flavor of our prawns draws loyal local and international diners again and again. Glamorous celebrity owner and host Carla, known locally as the Prawn Queen, is as much an attraction as the delicious prawns. The fabulous chef, Alvina Brown presides over the kitchen and cooks the succulent prawns to perfection.

Limited mostly to prawns, cooked Mozambican style. Carla is always in attendance in a small intimate space, and it's a great refuge on a Cape winter evening.
