About Olijvenhof Olive Estate
A family run olive farm 16Km outside Montagu on the R62 to Barrydale. We take visitors on a short walk through the olive groves and talk about olive trees. We give some history of olives, speak about how they are grown and harvested etc. We show them through our cellar where we process olives and then end with an olive tasting and the possibility to buy some of our products.
The tours cost R30 per person and for a small group of say 6 - 8 people takes about an hour. We have no restaurant or tea room facilities.
