Marloth Park is a unique bushveld holiday town and nature conservancy bordering the Kruger National Park. Here people and wildlife coexist peacefully on the banks of the Crocodile River. It’s an amazing place for kids to enjoy nature, with opportunities to feed zebra, get close to giraffe or watch bush babies come out at night. Giraffe, zebra, blue wildebeest, kudu, nyala, impala, ostrich and other wildlife wander freely between the lodges and residences. Microlight flips above the Crocodile River offer amazing opportunities to spot elephant, hippo, crocodile and giraffe from the air. The town itself is blissfully uncommercial, with little more than a petrol station and a few shops providing essentials. Just 14 km from the Crocodile Bridge entrance to the Kruger National Park, most visitors use it as a base to explore Kruger with a guided walking safari or 4x4 tour. Marloth Park is also a convenient stopover to Swaziland and Mozambique. It’s only a one-hour drive to the gorgeous subtropical beaches of Mozambique and a 45-minute drive to Swaziland.
