Magalies Wild Game Farm offers a well-marked Forest Walk that is short and easy, perfect for anyone keen to experience nature without too much effort. A number of trail options are available and walking anywhere on the farm is safe.

Animals you may encounter include blesbok, impala, kudu, hartebeest, zebra, ostrich, grey duiker and warthog. At night porcupines, honey badgers, servile cats and jackals come out to prowl.

Base camp is at the SunFlower Hut, a wooden cabin with 2 single beds. Outdoor kitchen, braai facilities and ablutions are under cover.
