About Oxford Street
Oxford Street in West End is London's busiest shopping street with over 300 shops including the largest Marks & Spencer store. Oxford Circus, a busy intersection with Regent Street, is situated midway along the 2.5 km road which stretches from Marble Arch at the northeast corner of Hyde Park to St Giles Circus where it becomes New Oxford Street. Of special interest on this historic road is Club 100, a legendary 70s-style live music venue, and The Tottenham, the last remaining traditional pub on Oxford Street.
Several major bus routes and four tube stations serve Oxford Street: Marble Arch, Bond Street, Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road.
