About Leblon Beach
Leblon Beach is situated in one of the most affluent parts of Rio. It's a great family beach and is less crowded than the trendy neighbouring beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana.
Swim only where the locals do and take care if you venture into the water. There is often a strong undertow and big dumping waves.
Leblon is known for lively nightlife with numerous bars, restaurants and nightclubs lining the beachfront. There are no ablution facilities.
