About Living Life Station Café
A formerly deserted shed on an old railway siding in Ladybrand has been brought back
to life as a whimsical restaurant-café, where the emphasis is on good, simple, impossibly fresh fare.
Our goal is achieving a low carbon footprint. Apart from the freshly brewed coffee, most of our ingredients are locally sourced. We use locally grown organic wheat and rye flour for our homemade bread. Fresh fruit, berries and eggs are from nearby farms. Crispy salad greens and herbs are harvested in our garden. The open oven is fired with locally sourced alien wattle.
Children are welcome, and we have a gift shop with Living Life handmade products.
We are open from Tuesdays to Saturdays, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The kitchen closes promptly at 3:00 pm. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
There is also the Living Life Factory, where local workers create handmade crafts.
