Aching muscles and hot sweat is what I can remember from my Highlands Hike experience, but it was surely worth it.The trail follows an exciting route that keeps on changing as you push yourself along. The beauty of the nature reserve, farm, and beach is something that stays with your forever. Personal highlights include watching the wild horses frolic around the vlei, and one even came over to greet our group; amazing.I can highly recommend it. Bring along good hiking friends, and watch the weather, as there is no shade throughout the hike.
