Directions to A'la Turka
Travel from Centurion on the Danie Joubert Freeway (N1) towards Irene. Take exit 134 to merge onto the R21 towards Kempton Park / OR Tambo International Airport. Take exit 12 for Nellmapius Drive (M31) towards Centurion. Turn left onto Nellmapius Drive (M31). Take the 1st right onto the M57 and after 2kms, take the 2nd left onto Sterkfontein Avenue. We went to Ala Turka for our 15th anniversary and I should say my wife and I were blown away. The set up, the ambiance, the food and the service - all outstanding. The team at Ala Turka does not leave any detail to chance. Everything was executed to perfection. Thank you very much, Ala Turka for making this a very memorable evening.

We went to A la Turka restaurant on the 28th of September. We were a party of 6. 5 of us decided on the "ottoman" menu which is a set menu for R195. Firstly, our waitress was more interested in playing a drum than serving us which meant we had to wait a long time for our food. We all got a small pita with various sauces for a starter. Then the main meal come which was one platter of food to share. Each of us got one piece of a lamb kebab, one piece of a chicken kebab and one spoon of another meat. Our platter was the same portion of food as a party of 2 sitting across from us but we were 5...
