My partner and myself arrived while the owner/host was smoking and talking on his phone, very impersonal manner with which to greet a guest. However, we were lured inside by the pungent aroma and relaxed ambience. Eager to have a Mexican meal, I convinced my partner that we did not have to sit down and that we could order takeaways. The cook/assistant who was preparing the meal informed us she will start cooking in a sec as she had to visit the toilet. A rather impolite comment towards guests. Nevertheless, we had two tequilas while waiting for the takeaways. The only thing good about this...

What a cosy little gem! It has become our favourite spot in Hout Bay. Small, intimate restaurant with amazing Mexican grub. Well worth a visit.
