About Salt of the Earth
Salt of the Earth is a farmstall-type restaurant situated close to Camp Hill, in the Hemel en Aarde district.
Customers can sit inside of restaurant or on the patio; a blanket is offered if the weather is too cold.
Every last Sunday of the month they offer live music called Music of Yesterday. The restaurant is ideal for kids where they can run around in the veld and still be safe.
Enjoy the lovely farm-style breakfast that is a quite substantial meal, light meals or tea and cake. Choose from the daily specials and freshly prepared dishes.

Directions to Salt of the Earth
From Hermanus, head west along the Main Road/R43 towards Sim Street. After 1.9 km, turn right to stay on the Main Road/R43 and continue to follow the R43. You will travel through on traffic circle. After 3.9 km, turn right onto the Main Road/Hemel en Aarde road, at the traffic lights by the Engen petrol station. After 2 km, your destination will be on the right-hand side.

We love this place! The food is always fantastic and a great atmosphere surrounds this place. The host and staff is friendly and you can recommend this place with ease as everyone who's been there loves it! The food is more than enough to fill a hungry tummy and the prices are even better. Not to mention the cakes!
