About Chinese Garden of Friendship
Modelled on the gardens of the Ming Dynasty, this tranquil space in Darling Harbour is a great place to experience authentic Chinese culture. Opened in 1988 as part of the city’s bicentennial celebrations, the gardens symbolise the bond between Australia and China. The garden features a waterfall, a Dragon Wall and a traditional Chinese Tea House, which serves tea and refreshments.
