About Loerkop Hiking Trail

Walk through indigenous fynbos. Enjoy sightings of abundant bird life. Although only 3 km long, the hike is steep in parts so take water with you. Cross the river on the low lying bridge off Krige Road. At the quarry, follow the signs to the kissing gate. Beyond the gate, turn right and follow the path cut into the fynbos.
