About Cape Town Carnival

The Green Point Fan Walk will be lit as hundreds of people gather at the biggest street party in Cape Town!

Join in on the excitement of the fifth annual Cape Town Carnival.
There are tons of great things to do. The FanWalk will turn into a pedestrian walkway lined with food stalls and festive hospitality areas. Enjoy a delicious treat while watching the colourful crowds go by.

The Carnival parade begins at 7:30pm and lasts about 2 hours. Stand in awe of gorgeous large scale floats accompanied by over 2,000 glamorously costumed performers.
The night will round off with a bang at an incredible open air after-party!
