Ambience restaurant is a family restaurant. It is situated in a lovely historic stone building, one of the original hotels of the town and furnished accordingly. It has both indoor and outdoor dining facilities. The food served is a variety, from the all-time favourite grilled steak or chops and fried fish and chips to signature dishes like Cape Malay chicken curry, wraps with a variety of fillings, lamb shank curry or whole lamb shank cooked in a special wine sauce. Tasty pizza and pastas are also well-liked. It is also fully licensed. Guests can also browse the antique shop or art gallery while waiting or examine the costumes in the clothing museum.
