About Trout Route

The Trout Route is a 6 km circular trail that follows a stream with two waterfalls before reaching the Witpoort River Gorge. On the way you'll walk past trout dams and continue up to an amazing lookout over the river before doubling back to the start. This 3 hour trek forms part of the two-day Ama Poot Poot Trail.
