About Ama Poot Poot Hiking Trail

The Ama Poot Poot integrates two one-day circular trails, the Reedbuck and Trout Trails on a private game farm. Exhilarating mountains, ravines, river crossings, waterfalls and mountain streams make this a thrilling hiking experience.

Hikers are able to get fairly close to large antelope herds and even some fishing in the trout dams. Base camp offers hikers a welcome hot shower, flush loos, bunks with mattresses, a cosy lounge with a fireplace, a kitchen with gas appliances and braai facilities with a lapa.
