About The Crucible Glass Blowing

Benoni is known as the City of Lakes; however, it could also be called the City of Arts.

The Benoni Art Route is the initiative of 20 artists based in Benoni. These Artists are committed to
displaying their work in Benoni and its extensions on the last Sunday of every month.

The first open day is on Sunday, 26 January 2014

The Crucible is excited to be both a Partner and Artist in this wonderful initiative, and have the opportunity to introduce the ancient art of Glass Blowing to the public.

Our resident artists will be available to answer questions on this art form, and to also discuss what The Crucible has to offer as the only public access glass blowing facility in Gauteng.

To find out more about The Crucible you can visit our web site at www.thecrucible.co.za.

A map of the Art Route is available to download at benoniartroute.co.za.
