About Ukholo Lodge

Ukholo Lodge offers affordable accommodation to suit backpackers, hikers, overlanders and even romantic weekenders. The farm is located in the beautiful Citrusdal Valley surrounded by mountains and the fynbos wilderness.

Surrounded by orange orchards, you will find the main house with five bedrooms, a cosy Cottage, a 10-sleeper Dormitory and a large camping ground. Join us at the bar and watch sport events on the big screen or just sit back and relax. Guests can prepare meals in our large kitchen and we also have a braai area near the Campsite. Breakfast and dinner are also available on request.

Ukholo Lodge offers river pools for swimming, fishing, rock art, sundowner trips in the mountains, mountain hikes and cave camping.

Upon arriving we were greeted by Benjamin and two friendly maltese poodle who followed us around, really playful too. The view was breath taking and the most fresh air I’ve ever had.Ben really has some home grown skills in the kitchen, ranging from really good steaks and seafood pan to amazing desert at exceptional prices. Real value for money!
