About The Farm

Nestled almost invisibly among the beautiful hills bordering Cradle of Humankind, The Farm provides a relaxed vacation base that will restore your soul. Soak up the endless views of the Hartbeespoort Dam and the Magalies Mountains, while enjoying the lovely braai and pool facilities at The Farm. We are pet friendly. We do allow parties, but recommend to rent all seven rooms to avoid noise disturbance with other guests.

The Main Farmhouse consists of three suites, each with an en-suite bathroom and its own entrance. All rooms have access to an open-plan kitchen and lounge with a TV and uncapped Internet. Great for groups and families.

The Rondavel consists of two huge rooms each with own en-suite bathrooms. There is also a small cooking facility.

As well as being a beautiful seclusion, this safe area also boasts attractions such as walking trails, nature parks, golf courses and modern shopping facilities. Beside our self-catering options you can also head over to our well-known restaurant, African Swiss, just below The Farm.

Took one look at the place and was totally unimpressed. Information about the place was misleading when we did online enquirers. We forfeited our deposit and moved on.

80% of the roof was leaking when it rains, HtH was poured on the pool everyday until I approach the guy who cleans the pool that he must put it once a week. Sometimes we had no water to bath or cook. I will never recommend any of my friends of family to go there.

The Farm needs maintenance urgently. The braai is in a state and you as guest must improvise to be able to enjoy a braai. No windows in the kitchen. The necessary utensils in the kitchen is non existing. The swimming pool has a leak and the pump is day and night on. The Farm has so much potential but at the moment its being neglected. Chrissie JacobsEstablishments response:Many thanks for giving me Thumbs up for Comfort, Location, Facilities and Value for money! The Farmhouse was built for King Swazi the Second, and being a kind of historical building I always tried to keep it in the spir...
