St Ives #8 is on the first floor, maximising the lovely sea views and overlooking the swimming pool, braai and play area, in a secure complex with parking and remote access, situated right at the Uvongo main beach.

This lovely self-catering unit is well-looked after and sleeps eight guests in two bedrooms as well as sleeper couches. The unit is comfortably furnished and the kitchen is fully equipped for all your day-to-day cooking needs for self-catering and includes a microwave, kettle, fridge, stove, and oven. Comfortable lounge area with television and DVD player. Sunny dining area with lovely sea views. It is hardly 50 meters down the steps to the beach. The complex is well secured with palisade and electric fencing, and access is through a remote electric gate. Linen is provided for all the beds but guests are requested to bring their own beach and bath towels.

The beautiful area of Uvongo, offers a variety of scenic spots with golden beaches, crashing waterfalls, great fishing places and a River Reserve; home to the spectacular Oribi Gorge and much more family entertainment including close by shopping complexes.This flat is very central and is only 2.6 km from Shelly Centre and is within walking distance to Uvongo swimming beach through a private gate entrance on the premises.

As this unit is a privately owned holiday home, not located at a resort with reception, keys are first collected from our assigned caretaker. On receipt of your final payment, we will send you a complete set of maps, directions, and GPS points for the collection point and your unit, as well as contact info of the caretaker.

The most notable aspect of this apartment is the stunning view...we saw the whales as well as the playing near the shore. the apartment is neat and big enough for 8 people if need be, the play ground for the kids and the swimming pool is very beautiful and a added bonus. The owner as well as the caretakers Bonita and Sannie was so friendly and welcoming. The man taking care of the complex was so friendly and even played with the kids. What the apartment do need is salad bowls but the rest is there. We will definitely be staying there again. We enjoyed our stay just felt to short.

The layout of the unit is very practical. You sit having coffee with excellent sea views. If you open your bedroom curtains in the morning, it is alsomagnificent sea views. The proximity of the unit within Uvongo is also a plus. You can walk to shops. I will most definitely make use of the unit again. It is all that you want when on leave.

It was close to the beach and the swimming pool in the complex an added bonus. It needs a clothes rack to hang towels etc over.
