We enjoyed our stay very much: the warm welcome and the friendly but discreet approach of our hosts (as well as the wild life! Nyala and impala) was much appreciated. The cottages are perfect: substantial and attractive in design, well equipped and tastefully appointed, with everything working, including the newly installed air-con, though the natural coolness of the thatched interiors made it superfluous for us. We'd like to go back. Thank you.

What a wonderful get away ... just what we needed to get away from stresses of the city. The accommodation is neat, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the freedom to just walk, mountain bike and relax without too many other people around. Rory and Yvette are wonderful hosts. We will definitely be back.

The resort is very nice and relaxing. Only think we didn't like was the shower head, which makes it difficult for you to shower. But besides that we loved the place and will be going back with friends soon.

The cottage was very clean and well equipped and both the inside and the outside at the boma was cleaned daily. The retreat is exactly what it promises... peaceful and quiet! The owners were very hospitable and friendly. It was also pure bliss not to be bothered by Internet and cell phones. I will most definitely return.

The Shondoro chalet was well equipped and neatly kept. It provides a unique mountain / bush experience and was exactly what we wanted - nothing else than beautiful quiet nature, naturally.Rory and Yvette are wonderful hosts and were there like the surrounding nature: Professionally effective, warm heartedly friendly but not "too close".You made our weekend very pleasant and enjoyable.I recommend Shondoro to everyone who wants to experience nature well looked after in quietness.
