ROAM PRIVATE GAME RESERVE has been set-up to create a safe haven for wildlife to enjoy the open space of the Karoo. Steeped in history and diverse wildlife, the game reserve encompasses more than 5000 hectares of pristine Karoo veld. ROAM is now a sanctuary for many of the species which historically roamed the vast Karoo plains. Set in a magnificent landscape ideal for world class photography, game and bird sightings and genuine eco-tourism. Today ROAM offers traditional bush luxury accommodation in a 5 room catered lodge, a 3 room self catered manor or our explorer tents for the adventurous.

Safari: ROAM is a malaria free game reserve and has giraffe, zebra, buffalo, 13 species of antelope as well as smaller mammals such as caracal, jackal, bat-eared fox, aardvark and many more. Cheetah are due to be released onto the property in December 2017

At the time of booking a 50% deposit will be required and should be paid via EFT.
The balance of 50% owing against the booking must be made by EFT 7 days prior to arrival.

★★★★★ Stayed three nights in ROAM and had a great time. House is even better in real life and kids had a ball playing in the dirt and spotting game and turtles from the stoep. Warm and friendly Karoo welcome from the hosts. Would recommend to anyone wanting to relax for a couple of days.
