About Kvalsvig Seaside Cottage
Dig your toes into the sand, splash in the sea, sip wine by the lagoon, enjoy a fire with friends under the stars or around the indoor fireplace, and be lulled to sleep by the sound of waves. Kvalsvig Cottage is designed to give you the best of beach life. Just 50m from a quiet, pet-friendly beach, this spacious, 5-bedroomed, self-catering beach house is nestled in sub-tropical, coastal bush which is home to buck, monkeys, mongoose and a plethora of birdlife. The large, central courtyard provides a safe outside area for small children and dogs, and a sunny shelter from the wind on blustery days. The big, fully fitted kitchen, courtyard braai area and outdoor dining table, and open-plan living areas makes it perfect for family holidays or special times with friends. There are shops, golf courses, restaurants, water sports & parks and nature reserves all a short drive away. If you love the outdoors or are just looking for somewhere to relax and rejuvenate with family and friends, Kvalsvig Cottage is the place to go! Sleeps 12 (max. 10 adults and 2 children).
Safari: The property borders on protected riverine forest so Blue Duiker, Bushbuck and Mongoose are sometimes seen on the lawn. There is a resident troupe of vervet monkeys. The bird life is prolific and includes Fish Eagles and Purple-crested Turaco.
Beach: The secluded Munster Beach is 50 m away and it's lagoon and rock pools provide magical entertainment for children.
Spa: There is a little spa at Macbanana just 14km away.
Golf: The two world-class golf course of San Lameer and Wild Coast Sun are less than 20 minutes away.
Family friendly: One bedroom has a bunk-bed and two single beds. The enclosed grassed courtyard is a safe outdoor space for children. The road is a quiet cul-de-sac so one seldom sees cars on the short walk to the beach.
