When we arrived at the house the dstv was not working, it took some time for, not sure who to connect it. The house was smelly n stuffy, the 2nd bedroom downstairs, last one was a very cold and unwelcoming room. No mats on floor, just cement, the room itself was cold and had a damp smell as well. Late at night we realized there was no hot water. We advised the caretaker, the next morning during breakfast we had electricians n plumbers walk up n down to sort out. Was only sorted after 13h00pm on the 31st of August. Was very unhappy. Suggestion to all put in a guest bathroom, if there is couple...

The house is big enough to accomodate big family and is located in a very nice sea view but the town is very small, We travelled to margate almost every day to get the shops and to the beach with swimming pool. The main kitchen stove needs attention it switches on but never get warm and the shower doors needs to be fixed. I enjoyed myself at the house.

Situated on a non tarred road, you arrive at the house thinking this could still be good. But then the mosquito's, constant lawmowers around the properties during the day, no shower door, bedroom that is really make shift from what used to be a garage, permanent tenants on the property and really bad sound quality of the TV all end up making your stay not as pleasant as you would have hoped. Yes, the sea view is great (from upstairs), but the beach infront of you is only rocks, so don't hope to swim in that sea.The place is okay, but I would not recommend it.
