Named after the Eragrostis Porosa grass that is found around the site, the Camp site with three ablutions blocks, each consisting out of a shower, toilet and dish washing basin under Camel thorn trees on the side of a mostly dry river bed. Our guests bring their own tents. From the Camp site you may self drive your own game viewing excursions or book an official game drive. The ablution blocks are about 200 meters apart and the Camp site is 3 km from the Main Lodge and pool. The Main Lodge is still under construction.
Located on Ankawini Safari Ranch, the home of more than 40 wildlife species and a large bird population. Our guests can self drive the more than 200 km roads on the ranch to view game or you can book a game drive.
