@47 Guest House is situated in a tranquil and upmarket part of Summerstrand, and offers quality, spacious and private accommodation to tourists and corporate clients.

The guest house offers four double bedrooms, each one themed after a place where the owner has lived or worked. All rooms have private entrances with secure off-street parking. Kitchenettes are equipped with microwave ovens, bar fridges, kettles, toasters and crockery and cutlery for self-catering. Under-cover braai facilities are available next to the swimming pool.

Breakfast baskets are available. It permits guests to have their breakfast at their leisure without set time limits and not having to rush to meet breakfast times.

I had a warm welcome from Reinet and the housekeeper was very pleasant, shy but pleasant. My room was exquisite, I loved the breakfast idea and a well packed basket, my stay was very happyThe only two improvements, the airfresherner is close to the kitchen area, and the bathroom no counter around the hand basin, it was a bit uncomfortable as I had to place my makeup on the toilet cistern, and my brush on the windowsill. But I will definitely want to stay and recommend your guesthouse

Hi there,We arrived to a very small room for 4 people couple and 2 children and no place to sit and eat. Cutlery was short as you catered for 2 people only. Bathroom had longjohns hanging behind the door and the remote controlled gate closed onto our car, damaging it very badly. Im sure we will be in touch with the owners about this. Our experience was very average.Establishments Response:As the proprietor I find this review unnecessarily scathing and devoid of merit. The “very small room” is actually 25 square meters and designed for 2 people. We added a double bunk which obviously reduced...
