About Puri Lukisan Museum
The Puri Lukisan Museum in Ubud houses the greatest collection of recent Balinese painting and woodcarving dating from the pre-Independence war era to the present. The diverse collection includes important works from Balinese styles comprising the Ubud, Sanur, Batuan, Keliki and Young Artist schools. The museum offers a decent café and bookshop, and it’s easy to while away time strolling through the luxuriant grounds.
