About Uitkyk Trail
The exhilarating Uitkyk Trail offers hikers a wonderful route in the Magaliesberg area. Experienced hikers and casual walkers alike will enjoy the stunning views of the Hartbeespoort Dam. The trail traverses a variety of woodland, rocky ravines and grassland habitats.
Pre-bookings are essential with a minimum requirement of 6 hikers. A map provides interesting info about the geology, animals, plants and history. Carry at least 2 litres of water on the trail. Facilities include a fenced and locked car park with toilets, water and braai spots. Bring your own firewood.
