The Chobe National Park is the second largest national park in Botswana. It has one of the most wonderfully abundant concentrations of wildlife found on the entire African continent, particularly of African elephant and buffalo.

The legendary 120,0000 strong elephant population migrate annually from the Chobe and Linyanti rivers in the dry season, to the pans in the southeast of the park during the high rainfall season. One of the major attractions of this reserve is the opportunity to view the wildlife from a boat in the river itself.

Due to the sheer size of the park, visitors are afforded a huge variety of environments to explore and enjoy, from vast wildnerness plains, sweeping savannahs, brooding dense forests, to hot dry hinterlands, damp marshes and wet swamps.

Over a period of three to four days you can see nearly all the major wildlife species including giraffe, elephant, zebra, impala, tsessebe, roan, sable, wildebeest, kudu, buffalo, waterbuck, warthog, eland, and their predators including lion, hyena, jackal, bat-eared fox and possibly even cheetah and wild dog.

Enjoy unforgettable game drives, mokoro (pontoon) cruises , canoeing, motorboat excursions, sunset cruises, forest walks, and a wide range of adventure sports.

The legendary Victoria Falls is just a 2 hour drive from Chobe and is a must see, particularly if you're already in the area.
